Update 12:45 p.m.: A motorcyclist was killed Monday morning when he attempted to pass two vehicles stopped at a light.
According to Georgia State Patrol, the motorcyclist attempted to pass between two vehicles stopped at a light at the intersection of Highway 17 and 84.
The motorcyclist was traveling east when he struck a pickup truck and passenger vehicle around 10 a.m. The motorcyclist continued on through the intersection till he hit a curb and was thrown from the bike.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene. GSP is investigating the crash.
